About Us

Fired Art Ceramic Design Studio originally opened in 1994 and taught students the art of decorating ceramics artworks in Sydney until the end of 2004.

While we no longer run classes or workshops we maintain an interest in ceramics and continue to produce ceramic pieces.

To encourage people in their exploration of ceramics we continue to provide a range of ideas and inspiration for new designs to inspire you!

In March 2002 we opened Curtis Gallery as an exhibition space for established and emerging artists. If you have any queries regards artwork or any of the artists we exhibited please do not hesitate to contact us.

We are still producing some ceramics that will hopefully be available for sale from the website sometime soon, and of course we still do work on commission.

Sturt Desert Pea Design

This stunning design is based on the work of Australian artist Margaret Preston .

The Sturt Desert Pea is the floral emblem of South Australia and found in almost all mainland states of Australia.
