The materials needed for this design are:
Sable brush
Sponge
Foam edge-brush
Duncan GL612 Diamond Clear Glaze.
1. Clean and sponge greenware.
2. Starting with the lightest colour, in this case Willow Yellow sponge one third of the bowl. Ensure the edge has a full coverage to give a deep colour.
3. With the next colour, Lemon Yellow sponge more of the bowl, overlapping the last third of the Willow Yellow. This will allow the blending of the colours.
4. Repeat this with the next two colours, Irish Green and Peacock Green. The bowl should now be completely covered.
5. At random paint Cobalt Black stripes across the bowl. The for the above effect not all the stripes need to cross the bowl. Another effect is for the stripes to thin out in the centre of the bowl.
6. Turn piece over sponge the back in one colour. This bowl has a Peacock Green back.
7. Finally using a foam edge brush trim the bowl edge with Cobalt Black.
8. Bisque fire.
9. Glaze using Duncan Diamond Clear Glaze, fire again and enjoy!
