The materials needed for this design are:

Cleanup tool
Sanding Pad
Sponge
Pencil
Wax
Liner Brush
Round Brush
Foam Brush

1.  Clean and sponge greenware.

2.  Draw lines around the greenware to separate the design segments. Mark out spacing for the teardrop circles, ducks and triangular patterns.

3.  Paint teardrops on border in Brick Red and outline in Cobalt Jet Black.

4.  Using Sierra Yellow paint the little shell and outline in Cobalt Jet Black.

5.  Using Jade Green paint ring around the teardrops and outline in Cobalt Jet Black.

6.  Paint the square and dot in the triangle in Brick Red, wax the red dot. Paint the triangle around the red dot in Midnight Blue, then outline in Cobalt Jet Black.

7.  For the larger triangle paint the centre in Sierra Yellow then the outer triangle in Navajo Turquoise, then outline in Cobalt Jet Black.

8.  Start the ducks by painting the stripes. To simplify the painting, paint all the Sierra Yellow strips, then the Coral Red, Navajo Turquoise, Jade Green, Wineberry and Midnight Blue and outline in Cobalt Jet Black. Wax the stripes and then paint the body of the ducks in Jade Green, the wax over the strips should allow you to achieve an even coat of Jade Green.

9. Using your  cleanup tool, clean away some of the green paint for the eye. Use Sierra Yellow for the eye, use a small drop of Wineberry for the pupil and outline in Cobalt Jet Black.

10. The ducks legs are painted with Sierra Yellow and the beaks with Brick Red don't forget to outline them in Cobalt Jet Black.

11. Paint the dots in around the ducks with the end of a paint brush. Use Coral Red with five Midnight Blue dots around them, and outline in Cobalt Jet Black.

Tip: You can create different size dots with different size brushes. Try different brushes to get the size of the dots you want. Remember to dip the brush in paint after every one or two dots, or the size will vary to much.

12. Paint the two bands of triangles in Navajo Turquoise, paint the dots with Sierra Yellow. Outline in Cobalt Jet Black, then paint the outer lines in Cobalt Jet Black.

13. With a foam brush paint the rim in Navajo Turquoise and outline in Cobalt Jet Black.

14. Bisque fire.

15. Glaze using Duncan Diamond Clear Glaze, fire again and enjoy!
