1. Sand and clean the plate, then draw the design on the plate. Use freehand to place items where you feel they will look good, trying to balance the overall placement of items

2. The Hot Dog. Paint the bread rolls in Sienna Brown Sgraffito seeds on the top of the roll and distress other parts of the roll with the sander. Paint the mustard line in in Willow Yellow and then wax the mustard. Paint the frankfurt in Coral Red, then outline the entire hotdog in black.

3. The Fairy Bread. Mix a bit of Buttercream with White and paint the triangles of the bread. Paint the crusts in Willow Yellow. Using any bright colours put dots on for the hundreds and thousands. Outline in black and wax the bread. Paint the plate in any desired colour.

4. Paint the rest of the items in the plate in any of the available colours. Then outline everything in black.

5. Place white French Dimension dots randomly on the white background.

6. Bisque Fire.

7. Glaze using Duncan Diamond Clear Glaze and fire again.
