
This design is suited for a Sushi plate, however the design can be adopted to various items.
The materials needed for this design are:
Duncan EZ Strokes translucent underglazes: The following colours have been used in this design, however any colours can be used.
EZ012 Cobalt Jet Black
Sable brush
Liner brush
Soft Sander
Sponge
Soft Pencil
Duncan GL612 Diamond Clear Glaze
1. Sand and clean the bowl.
2. Use freehand or trace the outline, placing the design repeatedly in one half of the plate. Decrease the size of the design as you get closer the two corners. Add a few extra small designs into the plate to fill any larger gaps.
3. Paint the design with Cobalt Jet Black. Ensure that you have an even coverage of paint, use two coats if necessary to get a dark finish
4. Bisque Fire.
5. Glaze using Duncan Diamond Clear Glaze and fire again.
