Hi, well it has been a little while since i was here. I have been busy and have enough stock that i am going to the markets, to start with i am going to the Gloucester farmers market, on the 12th of may.
I have completed rebuilding my kiln and am going to test it tomorrow, first with air pressure to check I tightened everything, then hopefully with a test firing to warm it up to ensure it has finished drying out after so long outside.
It is surprising how hard it is to find parts to match a 20 year old kiln on Google. Easier with Google than without it though. The valves are frozen solid, not overly unexpected I guess, so will need to replace them.
