I completed the bisque firing on Saturday, just opened the kiln and unloaded. The results are excellent, will have to glaze and fire  soon as I can.

Some more greenware for bisque firing, just need a few more to fill the kiln.

I am setting up my online shop, as you may notice from the new home page.  I will complete the payment options once I get a few more things available in the shop.

I will try to keep the calendar up to date also, see the about page....

I am organising a new concrete slab in front of my shed, so that I can roll my kiln outside to fire.

At least until it gets its own shed, that depends on how often it gets fired....

I now have all the pieces for my kiln,  soon as I manage to braise one piece it can all go together. Well almost all, still need a washer for one of the venturi.

Well my birthday present is a Venco pottery wheel. Looking forward to trying it out. I just need to get a few things setup.

It is surprising how hard it is to find parts to match a 20 year old kiln on Google. Easier with Google than without it though. The valves are frozen solid, not overly unexpected I guess, so will need to replace them.
